Chiefs never contacted Peyton Manning's agent for a visit.
My sources told me today that the Kansas City Chiefs never called Peyton Manning's agent for a visit. My sources also told me that Peyton Manning didn't wanna play for the Kansas City Chiefs because of Scott Poili's past with the New England Patriots when he was part of the Patriots Vice President of Player Personnel and there spygating scam. My sources also told me that the only way the Chiefs could have landed Peyton Manning was if the Chiefs fired Scott Poili and Romeo Crennel. That would be the only way that Kansas City Chiefs fans could have seen Peyton Manning in Red and Gold leading the way on offense. |

RT Eric Winston, formerly with the Texans, said several factors led to his joining the Chiefs; one was K.C. fans communicating with him via social media. “These fans mean business; they were blowing my Twitter up,” Winston said. “I thought it was great that they were so into it and they knew everything that was going on and they actually knew who I was and what they felt like I could do. I loved it.”
